history (and future) of the photo booth

in the 1889 world fair the eiffel tower was revealed. This enormous structure stood nearly 10,000 ft tall in its inauguration in March and was the tallest building in the world until the completion of the empire state building in 1931. it has attracted millions of people all around the world and has been site to many stunts, ceremonial events, and even scientific experiments. but something just as marvelous had been created as well a lot smaller. the photobooth it was created by anatol josepho after many years of research and exploring he created this amazing machine although the eiffel tower is an amazing structure there are many newer more breathtaking structures all around the world but nothing has been created that is better than the photo booth.

photo booth picture 1. effect: glow i chose this effect because i liked how it changed my skin tone and darkened a lot of the shadows which added a scary effect to the picture

photo booth picture 2. effect: twirl i chose this effect because i liked how it distorted my whole body to the point where i'm almost unrecognizable which i thought was really cool

photo booth picture 3. effect: sepia i chose sepia because of the old fashioned look this filter has

photo booth picture 4. effect: x ray i chose this effect because as i was messing around with it i noticed how my eyes looked really weird and i think thats what stands out most on my picture

photo booth picture 5. effect: comic book i chose this effect because i always liked how comic books looked and using this effect i felt like i was a comic book character

looking at light

light reflects differently on things it can be blinding or it can lead the way. we examined the way light reflects on us by standing under the light that was shining down from the roof of the hallway. i noticed that light makes certain colors look a lot brighter and shinier for example a member of my group was wearing black and their black shirt when they stood under the light looked like a brown shirt but their black hair was really shiny also the light did not reflect on all of them certain parts like under their eyes or on parts of their clothing that was folded had shadows. light is  an amazing thing to examine because light can be manipulated in almost anyway and is an essential tool for making amazing photographs.
